What is #paid?
#paid is a platform that connects social media creators with brands to collaborate on campaigns together. This can be in the form of content created specifically for the brand to use exclusively or sponsored content that creators post on their own social media channels. We support most social media platforms, including Instagram, YouTube, Snapchat, Facebook, and Twitter.
How does #paid work?
We offer a roster of thousands of creators that brands can partner with to create sponsored social content or custom photo and video content. We use our proprietary algorithm and dedicated account teams to find the ideal roster of creators that will create the right type of content and have the audiences that match the program.
#paid’s platform and team will manage all the steps from finding the right creators, onboarding each creator to the specific program, reviewing and preparing content for approval, ensuring posts go live as scheduled, and measuring the results of all collaborations.
What are the requirements for mandatory disclosure?
If your business operates in the US, Canada, or the UK, there are industry regulations that govern the usage of sponsored social posts. The Federal Trade Commission (FTC), Advertising Standards Canada (ASC), and Advertising Standards Authority (ASA) all require social media posts contain mandatory disclosures that outline the relationship between creators and the brand – whether there’s a monetary exchange or an in-kind exchange – if there’s a relationship established, your brand is subject to these regulation and potential fines.
Our team helps facilitate the collaborations between you and the creators and will remind you of the mandatory disclosure rules.
What social media channels does #paid support?
We support most social media platforms, including Instagram, YouTube, Snapchat, Facebook, and Twitter.
If a campaign gets canceled before launch, do we need to pay for anything?
Sometimes campaigns don’t work out. No hard feelings. However, our creators may have already committed time and resources for your campaign, so there are guaranteed payments for the creators at specific milestones.
Payment Milestones:
-
50% upon accepting the collaboration
-
25% upon the brand's approval of the post (50% if the content isn't going live)
-
25% after the post is live
What currency is used on #paid?
While all collaborations are reported in USD, brand partners and creators can opt to pay and receive payment in their local currency.
What does TikTok Review Status Pending mean?
After a creator uploads their video to TikTok, depending on how they uploaded the video, TikTok may review the video first before it can be officially posted to the Creator's feed.
If the creator is posting directly to TikTok, the video status should be updated shortly after they post their video and it goes live.
