What If My Caption or Picture is Not What Was Approved? Do I Still Get Paid?
We understand mix-ups happen from time to time. Please do your best to make the post exactly as the post was agreed on. In terms of payment, if we believe the spirit of the post was in the right manner, you will still get paid. These scenarios are tricky but assessed on a case-by-case basis.
Learn more about payouts in our Creator Terms (section 15a).
Do my social media profiles need to be public?
Yes. If you keep your profile private, people can’t discover and see your work; brands and our team also can’t see how well your posts are doing and ensure you get paid. Keep your profile open and public so you can grow your following, showcase the great work you’ve already been doing, and share the cool things we’re going to work on together.
Do I have to include #paid in my post?
There are certain hashtags that fulfill mandatory disclosure requirements by the Federal Trade Commission (FTC), Advertising Standards Canada (ASC), and Advertising Standards Authority (ASA). Whether you use: #ad, #promotion, #sponsored, #partner, or #paid, those hashtags are used to disclose that the content is a paid-for post. #paid also accepts tagging the @hashtagpaid Instagram account in Canada.
