What is a Concept?🤔
A Concept is a formal idea submitted by you (the creator) for the brand to review! The Concept should provide a brand with an overview of what you plan to do and say in a specific content deliverable.
A Concept could include where you will be shooting, what props you will use, who will be in the content and what filters may be used. If it's a video, the Concept may include what you will be saying, how long the clip will be, added music, voiceovers, or text layovers.
Why are Concepts important?🤌
Concepts will help you and the brand get on the same page about the idea for the content before you start shooting. Concepts should lead to no or few revisions when brands receive the submitted content. If the brand is not satisfied with your submitted content, brands can always refer back to the Concept as a receipt for what was to be delivered.
How to submit a Concept! 📝
Step 1: Go to your collaboration with the brand and click on the deliverable that requires a concept.
Step 2: Type your concept in the text box on the left-side of the screen.
Step 3: Hit the 'Save' button to save the text in the concept textbox.
Step 4: Hit the 'Submit Concept' button to formally submit your concept! Important note: this is an important step to ensure your concept is visible to the brand, please make sure to click on this button.
Step 5: Submit your concept!
Step 6: Wait for the brand to approve your concept! You will be notified once the brand has approved your concept as the status of your deliverable changes from "Concept Under Review" to "Concept Approved." This will then open up a slot for you to upload your content in the same deliverable section on #paid.
