Why do I need to add the brand as a Partner?
When collaborating with brands on #paid, a brand might be interested in using the content you create to run a Creator ad on Facebook and/or Instagram using your handle (also known as Creator Licensing).
This process is normally automated through a tool that brands use on the #paid platform to securely license creators and run Creator Ads. However, the tool is not always successful and may sometimes require the creator to add the brand manually as a partner through their Facebook Business Manager.

Adding a brand as a Partner to your Facebook Business Manager
Follow the steps below to navigate to your Facebook Business Manager and add the brand as a partner.
STEP 1: Log into your Facebook Business Manager Account
STEP 2: Once you're logged in, click " Business Settings"
STEP 3: Click on the "Partners" tab to assign a brand as your Partner
STEP 4: Enter the brand's Business Manager ID
If you don't know the Business Manager ID of the brand you are working with, please reach out to a #paid manager for help. Make sure to enter the exact business ID.
STEP 5: Click "Pages" to share your Facebook Page with the brand
When setting permissions, you will only need to provide advertiser access (The ability to Create ads and View Page performance).
If your page does not appear click 'classic pages' on the left hand side
STEP 6: Click "Save Changes" to officially add the brand as a partner and you're done!
You do not need to share your Instagram account with the brand separately since your Instagram account is linked with the shared Facebook page.
