How to interpret the campaign projections section
The handraise page is where you, as a brand, can contract creators for deliverables on your campaign. In order to determine which creators would be the best fit for your campaign, you need to be able to evaluate their metrics and understand how they will contribute to your overall projected campaign performance.
This page is comprised of 2 sections:
1) Creator Profile
2) Campaign Projections
Creator Profile
Creator Profile Below is a snippet of Reza's profile on handraise:
You'll notice we have his stats for both Instagram and TikTok, as he's authenticated both apps within the #paid platform, and you'll also notice that we have broken up his metrics into different content types within the different platforms, so that you can get a clearer idea of which content types you might want to contract him for. You can see his Engagement Rate% (related to static in-feed content) is 0.99% but his Median In-Feed View Rate (related to Reels (non-static in-feed content)) is 15.94%. Reza’s metrics illustrate the difference in performance across all content types. As there is only one content type on TikTok, we have not broken it out by content types but instead just distinguished between views and engagements. **NOTE**: The reason we use Median when calculating Reels (Instagram) and TikTok Video metrics is due to the viral nature of these content types and platforms, respectively. As it's very common for Reels posts and TikTok video posts to go viral, using an average calculation could skew the results and therefore not act as a reliable indicator of future campaign performance. Median was determined to be a better form of measurement to account for this potential virality skew.
Campaign Projections
After you have gone through the list of creators and selected the deliverables you want to contract the creators for, the Campaign Projections tab will tally up all of the metrics from each creator you're contracting and provide a set of total numbers that are referred to as Campaign Projections, see image below:
This is taking the average and median metrics of each creator contracted on the campaign and multiplying that by the number of content pieces they’re contracted for and adding all of these creators’ metrics together to get the total campaign projection amount for engagements, in-feed views, and story views. Please note, these are projections and not guaranteed benchmarks as organic content can vary in performance from day to day and campaign to campaign. This is helpful to keep in mind when referencing this page next to your campaign’s organic results page.
